Obviously, I'm still not working on this project, but for fun, I did line up and fixture the horizontal tail for skinning. You will note a bunch of metal tabs. Those all have 2 holes in them that were all match drilled in a stack. The bottom hole installs on the tail chord line, and the top (very small) hole is what I use to align with the laser. This method just makes it easy to shine a laser and align all key features without blocking.
