This is the final version of the tool to bend the leading edge of the horizontal tail skin as well as the outboard wing. It's probably overkill, but as noted from the time between posts...I'm clearly not working to any schedule. Anyway, the tool works great. The threaded rods on either end have lots of travel, so it let me use a generous female die to lower the loads. It is important to twist both ends of the tool at the same time, otherwise you will end up with a curved leading edge.
Sooo, it took me a couple months to build and perfect the tool, and about 1 hour to bend both horizontal tail and wing skins. But if anyone wants to borrow it....Fort Worth Texas........
