Brief Description: Flight control torque tube fitting
Worked on some torque tube details. Looking at the aileron required deflections, I think I will need about + - 25 degrees of motion at the control stick. I rounded this up to + - 30 degrees to make sure I would not have to revisit the spar after it is harder to access. Image 1 shows the resulting trim on the spar web. While I was working in the area, I fabricated the pushrod for the roll trim servo and mounted the associated springs to make sure everything was going to fit and have adequate clearances throughout it's motion. I bought the springs from Vans Aircraft. They were originally intended for a manual RV-4 roll trim device.
