Brief Description: Fitting the 14.25 upper and lower bulkhead
I left some 1 inch diameter tubing at a drag racing car fabrication shop for them to do the bends on the control sticks a month ago and received those parts today. They look great and are shown in image 1. With the new 14.25 lower bulkheads in hand, I drilled them in place as well as the 14.25 upper bulkhead that forms the aft part of the baggage compartment. Depending on where you look on the plans, the lower 14.25 has its flange either facing forward or aft. If you face the flange aft, then the rivet row lines up better, but the forward flange may be more prone to catch on your leg when you get in. I installed it with the flange facing forward. I also cut the slots in the skin for the forward spar.
