After final fitting of the longerons and drilling of the skin, it was time to start fitting some of the intermediate bulkheads. I made foam board cutouts of the lower 14.25 bulkhead and checked the fit in the fuselage. The bulkhead (foam board) fit okay, but not great. There were some gaps in a few areas. As a result, I choose to scrap the bulkheads I had and make some bulkheads that fit my fuselage better. This meant modifying the foam board to fit better, then using that template as a guide to make new forms as shown in image 1. The new bulkheads were then formed and cutouts created where the angles go. I failed to take pictures of any of that process, but it was all pretty straight forward.
