Formed and drilled the upper longeron channels. The astute eye will notice that the channels are on the outside of the weldments rather than inside. This is because I changed the design of the weldment to add the additional flange allowing a clean 90 degree weld. (Discussed in the weldment entry). As part of that change, I also made the inner weldment dimensions slightly smaller. This would mean that the U channel would be a very tight fit around the attach bolt if placed inside the weldment. As a result, I put the U channel on the outside. The loads should still transfer in the same manner as the original design.
