Work on the lower forward tunnel skin was started. The forward 90 degree bends were made on the bending brake and were straight forward (13 inches across) However, the slight bends at the forward lip and 18 inches forward from the spar were somewhat more difficult since my bending brake does not have removable folding leaf sections to accommodate the first bends (nothing is easy). As a result, I just used blocks of wood and clamps to make these bends the old fashion (barbaric) way. Once things were bent and trimmed, I added the inspection cover that will allow access to the control stick linkage. This is truly and inspection hole as I don’t think and adult hand will fit through the very small hole.
