Brief Description:  Forming nose skin for replacement left flap

Created the nose skin for the replacement left flap. This was bend on the sheet metal brake using a 1-inch nose piece and several bends along the upper surface in an effort to create the curvature in the upper portion of the nose ribs. I have also tried the technique of and rolling this skin, but struggle with the ability to get the proper bend radius that varies between ribs. In the end, I do a fair amount of hand bending over a pipe trying to get the right shape. Inevitably, I end up creating some small dings and dents during this process. Most of them can be worked out by hand later. The nose skin was then tucked under the top and bottom skins so that the existing holes could be used to drill through the nose skin. During this process the nose skin was held in place with Duct tape (sorry Ethan).
Finally, after the spar was drilled to the skin, it was remove, and a template made to locate the holes in the nose ribs. This template was then used on the top and bottom of the nose skin to drill the holes. The skin was then reinstalled and the holes were drilled in the ribs using the skin as a guide.
