Work continued on the ailerons. .016 thick 2024 was bent, stiffeners formed and trimmed then drilled, dimpled and riveted to the skins as shown in image 1. Image 2 shows some more hinges that are in process. It turns out that when I fitted the hinges I built last week, they were not perfectly aligned, and would have left minimal edge distances. Although the old hinges would work, I decided I could do better, so I am building a few more.
