Everything ended up very nice except I had t order a new shaft and pulley. It was necessary to heat the pulley and cool the shaft to get them to mate. Loctite sets up rapidly against a hot pulley (!) and I messed up the two trying to seperate them prompting the need to spend more money.
I had John Spurling put it all together for me to prevent a similar occurencea and all was smooth from there.
I made some slight changes in the mounting bracket bolt holes that improved the lateral and fore/aft allignmentof the shaft.
