Continued on with smoothing everything in sight and flanging anything slower than me.
Amongst much visiting with Dad, we actually got a lot accomplished. Final smoothed the remaining Center Ribs and got the two fill sized Tip Ribs "rough smoothed" on the drill press using a sanding drum with aluminum oxide sandpaper. Smoothed and flanged (100%) three Aileron Pocket Ribs. and got a whopping 1 0.032" Center Rib flanged and fluted. The .032 isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be to work with.
Then spent a good chunk of time attempting to calculate the actual flat dimension requirements for the spars. Other builders have used (flange + rib height + flange + 1/16")...
