Brief Description:  Edge deburring and nose rib forming started

Using some eBay purchased blue Roloc Scotch Brite pads in my high speed, I set about smoothing the edges of my nose rib blanks. Talk about tedious!

After I smooth a few, I decided to shape a couple nose ribs so as to have SOMETHING to show to Dan (BH #869) at Sun-n-Fun next week!

After transferring lines onto the blank to show rivet locations, it was time to start shaping. As seen in the 2nd image, I think the face on my deadblow is too chewed up to be used for shaping again. it left a few tooling marks that I wasn't crazy about.

The 3rd image shows my first rib (WooHoo!) along with a nice 2-ton press on semi-permanant loan from somebody at work. I'll be using this press and my Lightening Hole Jig 3000 (patent pending) to create my flanges. More on that later.
