Brief Description:  Nose ribs cut and deburred

I routed all remaining nose ribs. This is a fantastic method, but it creates one heck of a clean up project. I'll do some sort of "chip retention" wall for the other ribs. Chips were found over 10 feet away!

Note in the first picture the hole I drilled to allow the router bit to enter the lightening hole cut is right near the edge. Do NOT plunk your hole in the middle. Until the router bit is supported by it's bearing, it's a very dangerous cut. It tries to tear the whole assembly out of your hands. Place your hole as close to the edge as you can and then get your bits' bearing riding the form block right away.

So, by the end of the day, I had all nose ribs routed and deburred and ready for shaping. I would have started shaping after dinner, but the wife wanted to watch a DVD, then she fell asleep towards the end. And since nobody likes a cranky pregnant woman who was woken up to the sound of banging...I wisely decided to wait until the morning.
