Brief Description: Finalize Wiring and Install Headboard
I finished up the wiring , for the time being anyway. Not as pretty as I would have liked but there are simply a lot of wires going a lot of different directions. I am open to suggestions as to how to make it prettier.
Decided to install the Headboard. Naturally it did not fit. It was too tall and hit the bubble. I had to trim over 1/4" off the top. Next time I think I may wait until the bubble is on to build the headboard. Fortunately the cut edge will be covered up by a rubber strip. In the bottom right is my fuel cutoff. I riveted a plate on that was silkscreened. The hole in the plate also acts as the outboard bearing for the shaft.
I also installed some more nut plates to hold the ends of the headboard down.
