Brief Description: Make Nipples for Valve Cover Drains
Been a busy week. Closed on a Conquest II on Monday and flew it home from Grand Junction Colorado to Tulsa to Wichita. Today I flew it to Texas and back. Tomorrow I fly it to Maine, then Ohio then back to Wichita on Friday.
Tonight I made the bottom drains for the valve covers. These will be welded to a hole drilled in the bottom of the bottom valve cover. A hose will carry the drained oil to the oil sump. I just measured the fittings on the sump and made these the same.
There is a flange at the top that allows a little extra metal to be used as the filler. Just like on the other tubes
