Doing minor details on the fues. Completed panel that covers the fuel valve seen in photo 1. Riveted the valve extender on. Put in the closeouts pieces in the rear of the baggage compartment. Made a block of wood to fit under the header tank in the fues that will support the front of the tank. Put one coat of spar varnish on the wood for protection. Tested the header fuel tank for leaks and there were none.
Almost out of work on the fues. Need to decide if to cover the fues now and then build the wings, or to start on the wings.
