Made a part out of two pieces of alum. angle that moves the fuel valve out 1/2". Rivets to fues where the valve was to be mounted and has nutplates for the fuel valve. Now the valve is removeable and available for service.
Second photo is the side panel with a cutout for access to the fuel valve. Third is the easily removeable cover made from scrap that overlaps the side skin that will leave the valve handle outside the side panel. I don't think this the way Rans intended this to be used, but it works
