Brief Description:  Put on gear

A couple of days with almost no work except for the Xmas tree thing and a dishwasher failure/repair.

Got the nose gear to operate smoothly in the welded bushings. A lot of grinding, blueing, installing the gear and twisting, repeat several times, and bending the weldments into allighment, the gear turns with little force and no excessive play .

Put the fues up on a lifing table, took it out of the rotating fixture and raised it enough to get the nose gear in and then put on the main wheels, all with temporary nuts. Put in one brake to verify it was right.

Took 50 lb sack of sand to keep the nose on the ground.
