Worked on the POH in the morning and then the oil arrived in the afternoon. Heated up one qt in the washbasin and poured it into the oil cooler via the hose. Was slow, but took most of a quart. Put the rest and 9 more into the sump.
Removed the top plugs and the mag wires to the bottom. Connected the starter wire and spun the engine for 15 seconds and got no oil pressure. Didt it again and the pressure came up slowly. One more time to get it to 40 and then I loosened the fitting at the oil pressure sender until oil came out to fill the line.
Put all the plugs back in and hooked up the wires. Time to add fuel and run the motor.
