Moved the -6A out of the hanger and set up for paint. Etched the baffle parts with some aluminum prep left over from the glider trailer and washed. Made handles and hangers for all with some rebar tie wire. Set up Hobbyair system and turned hanger temp up to 65.
Primed the inside and outside of the plenum and all the baffle parts. Says it can be coated in 15 minutes, so I made a small test piece. After about a half hour, I mixed up some urethane paint and tested it on the piece. Forced it dry with a heat gun and there was no reaction.
Mixed up 24 oz of paint and painted three coats on the plenum outside only, and baffle parts. They are so irregular, I wias amazed to find only a couple of runs. Cleaned up the gun and put the -6A back in the hanger. Turned heat up to 60 for a overnight cure. Left the rest of the mess in place for tomorrow.
