Brief Description: Plenum, trim, clean up. Start plenum mount
Removed plenum from engine and cleaned up all the foam and clay used to shape the front end. Trimmed to approximate shape. Sanded the inside and outside where necessary. Will require a bunch of work to get ready for paint. Black carbon does not take good pictures.
The governor bump came out well. Put on the upper cowl with a clay column on top of the bump and found that the clearance is almost 5/8". Should be good.
Started working on the hinges that will hold the plenum on. Some issues with the engine cylinder on the left front of the baffle. Will have to use .032 shims to hold the hinges in line on the sides.
