Carved away on the urethane foam that forms the front end of the plenum mold, the upper cowl. Got it so it the clearance to the intakes is 5/8" lower. This means the plenum can drop down 1/2'" (plus 1/16 for the carbon and 1/16 for the baffle seal) and have the clearance to the upper cowl.
Shaping the foam is fun, excapt it is too easy to remove too much or damage an area. Cut out several places and put in more until it was good, I hope!
In the spare time wating for bondo to set, got out the exhaust system and marked the locations for the EGT probes.
Started making a paper template of the carbon fibre. Will laminate three layers and then trim to final size between wax paper.
