Brief Description:  Alternator, cowl trim

Worked on alternator mounting. Added a 1/16 shim under the mount and filed a little off an interference on the case. Both almost doubled the amount the alternator goes to the loose position. Neighbor machined .063 off the alternator spacer to move it forward by that amount to get the belt centered on the flywheel. Mounted, bolted and safety wired all the alternator parts except for the main bolt and adjustment bolt. I think the main bolt will have to reversed to clear the flywheel, don't want to have to remove the prop to replace the alternator.

Started on the cowling. Filed and trimmed the nose to get the two to fit together somewhat. Used carptenters chalk to find where the interferences were in the center portion and sand it until it fit. The glass is better than the 1999 -6A, much better but still not perfect!
