Brief Description: Tie down wire in tunnel, built pilot/copilot jack
Tied down most of the wires in the tunnel. Wired the flap motor and flap position indicator. Only the fuel boost pump remains unwired in the tunnel.
Went to a RV-10 in the airpark and maeasured the location of his center console to locate mine. Built a mounting plate out of printed circuit board material to hold the pilot/copilot headset jacks and entertainment 1. Cut out hole in Aerosport console liner where it will be mounted. Laid out and drilled the passenger jack/entertainment mount out of the same P.C. material. I used printed circuit board because it is an insulator and prevents accidental grounds at the jacks. Had trouble with the insulating washers in my -6A, so lesson learned.
