Brief Description:  Hoses/Radiator

Man, what a day spent doing not stinking much! I got the cockpit heater lines run. I'm still undecided about how/if to hook them up. Vic and Norm both suggested leaving it unhooked until I prove I'll need it...of course by then it's too dang late. The other big 'problem' with doing that is that I'll have to take the wing off to get in there. I'm not sure that will be that big a deal, but still. I will definately not hook it up when I first start taxiing it around...I will make the final decision before I put the wings on.

I finished hooking up all the oil lines today. I think I will end up buying another of the 90 deg oil adapters where it goes into the oil tank. That will make the oil line into the radiator flow much smoother. I ended up putting a few anti-chafe pieces around the motor on the liquid lines (coolant, oil, etc).

The other really big project was to get the radiator housing mounted on the radiator 'pan'. The manual says to rivet it on. I just couldn't see that since I'd have to drill them out to do anything with the radiator. I decided to install nutplates and screw it on. That took quite a while and some of Norm's tools (squuezer, countersink, etc).
