Brief Description: Drilling the right elevator skin to understructure
Drilled #40 all E-701-R right elevator skin to understructure attach holes, both sides. Completely disassembled right elevator. Dimpled the two forward facing screw holes in the E-713 counter balance skin such that the screw heads sit flush with the skin. Used the speed deburr tool to counter sink the E-714 counter weight so that the newly dimpled E-713 counterbalance skin wraps flush over the E-714 counter weight. Used the same tool to counter sink the four attachment holes in the right E-702 spar for the E-709 root rib on the forward face of the right E-702 spar. Test fit the countersunk holes with AN4263-3.5 flush rivets to ensure they sit flush with the spar web without interferring with the fit of the elevator control horn which will be riveted over the top of these rivets.
