Brief Description:  Left Tank L1 Proseal & Rivet

Today I started off by clecoing the wing tank joint plates in place just to make sure they fit properly after removing proseal last session. They fit good, no problems noted. I then did another test fit of the left tank fuel line (flop tube)/wing fuselage mount stuff to make sure all was a go for proseal and riveting of the L1 end rib that it all mounts to. Had one issue regarding test fit of a 470 rivet as it was interfering with the flop tube mounting assembly/elbow/nut. So I ended up countersinking the respective holes and ordered a few AN426AD4-7 rivets from Spruce. I also drilled 2 extra holes in the area for added strength...deburred, etc. Next I cleaned up the skin and L1 end rib with acetone, mixed batch proseal, and applied it to the flanges of the rib. Inserted and clecoed rib into laft tank skin and prosealed and squeezed all rivets. Applied fillets along top and bottom rivet rows and inside L1 rib. Reinstalled rear baffle with clecos. Cleaned skin and all tools, and shop. Next session will do the same on the right tank R1 end rib.
