Brief Description: Squeezed and Prosealed L7 & R7 Wing Tank Rivets
Today was good cuz my nephew, Ben, came to help me proseal and squeeze the tank rivets along the L7 and R7 ribs. We first pulled the cleco, dipped the rivet into the proseal, inserted rivet in hole, and squeezed rivet with air squeezer. We did this until the whole row was complete then cleaned up the proseal from the wing. We repeated this work on both tanks. I then mixed up another batch of proseal and used a small popsicle stick to make a fillet on the inner side of the L7 & R7 ribs...the wet side. I also enclosed the squeezed rivet ends with proseal. Afterwards, I clecoed in each baffle for form and fit and to let the proseal set up for a few days. Cleaned up tools and shop.
