Brief Description:  Proseal & Riveted Right Tank R1 End Rib

Today Andrew and I completed the proseal and riveting of the right tank R1 end rib. First we unclecoed the rib and cleaned up all surfaces with acetone. I then mixed up a batch of proseal and spread the rib flanges with a good thick coat. Next we inserted the rib into the skin and put clecos in all holes. We then inserted a proseal-dipped rivet into each hole one at a time, then squeezed the rivet with the air squeezer. After both top and bottom were done, I mixed up another batch of proseal and used a small popsicle stick to make fillets on the inside (wet side) of the rib. I also spread proseal on the outer rivet rows making sure to leave the part where the wing support bracket will be riveted. This is what we will do on next session. Cleaned up all tools and shop.
