Brief Description: Dimple Tank Ribs, Scotchbrite Tank Skin Rivet Line
Today I dimpled both the left and right tank ribs using the hand squeezer. I then scotchbrited the right tank stiffeners and the right tank skin rivet lines in preparation for pro-sealing/back riveting. I then put the left tank skin in the wood holder and clecoed the left tank baffle in place to re-match drill to a AN426-AD4 rivet as I "over-countersunk" some of the skin holes....so now the original AD3 rivet will not fit. So will move to the next bigger size. My brother, Andrew, and I looked at it and think this next upsized rivet will work well.
