Brief Description: Drilled Rivets & Wing Stand Work
Today I drilled our a few rivets on the right wing ribs in an effort to get a better rivet job on next try. I started by using a punch, then a small drill bit, then the original size drill bit. I used BoeLube on all drill holes which made the drilling very easy. Some rivets just popped right off, some I needed pliers to pull out. I then deburred all holes. They are now ready for new rivet install on next session. I also relocated a piece of angle iron on the wing stand to a different spot to help hang the right wing straight.
