Brief Description:  Drilled Conduit Holes, Prep & Primed Ribs

Today we finished drilling all conduit holes on wing ribs using the drill press and the unibit. The flex couduit we are using was purchased from Lowes in 10 foot lengths. The diameter is 3/8" so this is the size we finished drilling the holes. We then deburred all of the drilled holes. We scotch-brited all rib flanges as this the only place we will spray primer to save weight. We then washed all ribs in water and dried them. Using self-etching spray can primer, we then spray-primed all of the rib outside flanges and let dry overnight. Next session we will start riveting the right wing skeleton together.
