Brief Description:  Starting to remove the top coat of paint

As I mentioned in my 10/23 posting, I need to remove the paint. What a pain! I spent weeks to prep and weeks to paint and now I have to remove it and start over!

I'm sure it's my own fault, as I have read great things about the Stewart Systems products, but I'm very disappointed none the less. I love how the paint is not toxic to work with (a far cry from the Zolatone I painted the interior with), but I'm struggling with learning the art of prepping and painting. I bought the Stewart videos, watched them thoroughly, read the manual in detail, and was very, very careful when applying the paint, but...I still need to remove it and start over. Not cheap, either, at least as far as an educational opportunity goes.

The first picture shows the front left of the fuselage with most of the top coat removed. At first I thought I could get away with just removing top coat (EkoPoly) and going down to the EkoFill, but that's not going to be good enough.

The second picture shows in progress of removing the top coat. The layers, from outer most to inner most are: EkoPoly (top coat, white), EkoFill (grey) and then EkoPrime (White). So far, the EkoPrime looks fine and I do not see any adhesion problems with it, so I am only (?) planning on removing the EkoPoly and EkoPrime.
