These are just a few more pictures showing the mounted nosegear and how it looks when extended and when retracted. At this point it still has not been secured in either position and is free to move up or down.
The first picture shows the nosegear extended.
The second picture shows the nosegear retracted. Since the fuselage is on its side and the nosegear centering springs have not been attached yet, it is turned to the side a bit and touching the outside of the nosegear opening; that will not be the case when it's completed.
The third picture shows the nosegear from the outside. This is with the fuselag upright.
