The left elevator is on the bench today. I started by back riveting the stiffeners on the bottom of the skin. I then atttached the nutplates on the spar. I next riveted the horn on the spar assembly. the re-inforcment plate for the trim tab was next. I riveted the nutplate to the plate, then riveted the plate on the bottom of the skin. The counterbalance assembly was next. The small gussets was then match drilled and deburred and riveted. The bottom skin was then riveted to the spar and the trim tab spar was riveted next. I am now ready to do the trailing edge on the left elevator. Everything look great!
