Brief Description:  Deburred aileron parts

I have not had a cold in the last .....almost 8 Years!!....until this week. I worked Monday morning and came home to a runny nose and sneezing. I was in bed for the next 3 days. I hate being sick. Thank God I have a wonderful wife to take care of me (Thanx Wendy). I felt better this morning, so I decided I had better get my 3rd class medical exam done before the end of the month. I was going to do it earlier this week, but...... Anyhow I did the exam and passed....yeah! I can fly for 2 more years. I also went looking for a new car/truck today (more to come on that). I fired up the compressor about 3:30 this afternoon and started to deburr all of the parts for the 2 ailerons. I used the drill press with the small scotch-brite wheels to do the skin, nose skins, spars, ribs, nose ribs and the small plates. I still need to do some small file work, but most of it is done. I next dressed up the ends of the counterbalace pipes. These are made of stainless steel, so I used a grinding wheel to smooth out the ends, then finished it with the scoth-brite wheel on the bench grinder. Came out nice! I also deburred the holes in the pipe. Finally I dimpled the nose skins and some of the flat skins with the rivet squeezer. Tomorrow I will finish up the dimpling and do the countersinking on the spars and trailing edge pieces.
