I began this morning by attaching the top inboard skins (and wing walk doublers) to the wing frames. I did not bevel the edge on one of the skins, so I had to do that. I continued untill all the top skins were on (I used ALL of my 3/32 clecos). Next I just sort of sat back in my chair and looked at what I've accomplished so far...........Just about that time. Wendy came home and gave me my birthday present.......Cigars!!! Cigars are my last vice, since I'm on a diet and have eliminated junk food. I sparked one up and Wendy and I had a nice glass of wine (and a smoke) in the shop. I had about an hour or so before I had to get ready to go to dinner, so I looked ahead in the manual on the next stuff (after riveting the wing skins). I pulled the parts for the aileron and flap brackets and began to cleco them together. I also have to fabricate some angle pieces at this stage. I fabricated six W-925B parts for flap bracket before I ran out of time. I'm glad I'm finally moving past Page 7-9 in the manual....seems like I've been on that page forever...........
