Brief Description:  End ribs on right tank

I got a late start today....for good reasons. My son (who just got back from Japan a few weeks ago) interviewed for a position with a company in Madison, Wisconsin. He got the job! He will moving there in a couple of week. The first item on his list was to go out and buy a new car.....so I went with him. He got a nice 2007 Honda Civic. I figure Wendy and I will be able to fly the new plane out to see him ......in about a 2 hour flight! Now we have another weekend destination..........Anyhow, back to the build. I riveted the end ribs on the right tank. I also riveted the brackets and made sure all areas were well sealed. I then cleaned up the work area and cleaned all of the tools. Next I began to get the fuel pick-ups and fuel sender units ready to mount on the access covers. I will need to finalize these and the vent lines before I closed the tanks with the rear baffles. I have very little tank sealant left. In fact, I don't think I have enough to finish. I will order a 3-1/2 oz. tube of sealant from Van's tomorrow. I will use this to close the tanks. Any sealant I have left in the quart can will be used for minor items (like sealing the conduit in place). I'm almost done with the tanks......Yay!!
