This morning I wanted to get a few things done before I went to work. I drilled the nose attach brackets (previously fabricated) to the inboard tank ribs. I next trimmed the T-410 reinforcement plates and drilled them in place on the other side of the inboard rib. This plate will be riveted to the nose attach bracked though the rib. Once again it was time to stop and go to work. When I got back, I made dinner and went back in the shop to do a little more work on the tanks. The inboard ribs are next modified. The large hole in the center is drilled out using a flycutter on the drill press. After deburring, the T-708 cover plate is clamped over the hole and the screw holes are drilled in the rib. The cover plate is removed and the reinforement ring is clecoed to the other side of the rib and the platenut holes are drilled. I will deburr all these parts tomorrow.
