Brief Description:  Getting ready to mount wings....

Well...I decided to stop putting it off and began the preparations to mount the wings. I moved the fuselage sideways in the shop so I will be able to mount both wings. I will, however need to remove the right wing in order to close the garage door. I also had to move my work benches and my drafting table. Next I leveled the fuselage in both directions. I then taped the tail down to the saw horse and taped the sawhorse to the floor. I then got my hardware store temporary bolts. I will use 4 -7/16" bolts for the test fitting (2 on each wing). I also made a couple of drift pin out of a bolt. I just ground a taper on the tip. These will be used to line up the holes as the wings are placed in position. I also checked the holes in the bulkhead and made sure the bolts easily went through both side of the bulkhead (spar). I will need help to get the wings on....I think Wendy has a full day tomorrow, but I think I might be able to get Sam to help, if he is not busy...
