Brief Description:  Research.....

Today is Sunday and for the first time in about 4 weeks...I did not work on the plane. I did. however do some internet research on the brake system. Seems that most builders are incorporating a modification on the brake pedals. The axis point on the brake pedals is suppose to be 2 bolts, one on each leg of the pedal. Alot of builders have stated this will cause the brakes to bind and stick, because the two bolts are not in line. The solution is to use one long bolt to connect both legs and keep everything in line along the pivot axis. This makes sense, so I ordered four bolts for this purpose....not very cheap, about 9 bucks a bolt.....

I also noticed many builders using a second assist spring on the master cyliners to return the piston to its neutral position. I also agree to do this and picked up 4 springs at the hardware store to do this. I will use washers to hold the spring in place along the piston rod. Anyhow, I will fit these in place tomorrow when I assemble the rudder & pedals.
