Brief Description:  Rudder & Brake Pedals, Floor Stiffeners and Baggag

I started working on the brake pedals. I wanted to use an after market pedal that is cast in aluminum and has an "R" on one pedal and a "V" on the other. I was going to order them, but decided not to at this time....I will use what came with the kit for now. I have duel brakes in this plane, so I had to assemble 4 pedals. I deburred the parts, but did not prime or rivet them. I don't know if I am going to leave the pedals raw or paint them or have them powder coated...I was thinking how cool it would look to paint them bright red! I still have plenty of time to decide before I need to instal them perminantly. I next set up the rudder assemblies in the fuselage. I set them 3" from the firewall, then drilled into the support angle. I moved the assembly and drilled in one inch increments, to allow for adjusting the leg room. I next worked on the rudder pedal brace. I drilled the optional lightening holes and attached the supports. Next I re-installed the front bottom skin and set the floor stiffeners in place. I will drill these tomorrow. I also clecoed in the baggage area ribs. It's been a long day and I'm pooped! I called it quits around 5pm. I need to do a ton of little things, then alot of match drilling. Then I will take the whole thing back apart and begin the many hours of deburring and dimpling and countersinking.......
