Brief Description:  Bottom Skins, Tail Tie Down, & Rivet Aft Fuselage

This morning I had some stuff to do (non-airplane) so I did not get working till 11:30. I started by inverting the center section assembly to attach the bottom skin. I use as many clecos as I had left, but that was not much, because the majority of clecos are still holding the aft fuselage together. I needed to begin riveting so I could free up some of those clecos. I also needed to fabricate and install the rear tie down bracket that I screw up last week. I lucked out.....I got the shippment from Van's after lunch. In it was the rear tie down and a quart of pro-seal. I spent the next hour cutting and trimming the tie down bracket. I then primed it and riveted it to the F-712 bulkhead. I re-clecoed the bulkhead assembly back into the aft fuselage...It is now ready to rivet. I had to take a break for a few hours and go take care of some family business........

When I returned, I began to rivet the side skins and the tail of the aft fuselage. I can reach all the way to the bottom and rivet by myself. I will need a bucking partner to do the bottom skins. I managed to complete on whole side in about 2 hours. I will work on the other side tomorrow.
