Brief Description:  Finished Deburring, scotch brite pads, Acetone, &

Today I finally finished all of the deburring on this batch of parts. I then had to decide which parts I was going to use the azko epoxy primer and which parts to use the Napa self etching primer. I don't have that much Azko left, so I decided I will use it for the smaller parts and the inside skins. I will used the rattle can Napa primer on the bulkheads and larger metal parts. I used scotch brite pads to scuff up all of the smaller parts, then cleaned with acetone. I also marked these parts with my electric engraver, so I will be able to know which part is which after priming. The acetone removes all of the sharpie pen marks. I then alodined each of the small parts.

Next, I cleaned the larger bulkhead parts with acetone. I will not scuff these up with the scotch brite pads, because the primer is self etching. If the primer does not adhere like I expect, then I wll scotch brite the next parts before I self etch prime...I also sprayed 2 pieces before I callled it a night. The primer looks like it covers very well. I check it tomorrow when it is dry. Tomorrow I should be able to prime all the rest of this batch and then maybe begin the tail assembly on Sunday.
