Brief Description:  Priming

Today is Saturday, November 8. I worked on the plane for over 12 hours today. I used 3 entries in this log to cover all of the days activities. For some reason, the software will not put these multiple entries in order, so I dated them 11/7, 11/8, & 11/8 to keep the order correct. The next three entries are all done on Saturday, so ignore the dates. I woke up and realized my cold is much better. I was determined to get a lot done today. I started by priming. I used the Azko and the Napa to prime all of the parts on this batch. I like the looks of the Napa...It dries to a nice dark gray. Both primers dry very fast. Since it is getting colder out, I decided to primed in the shop. I opened the garage door about 1/4 of the way and then opened the service door in the back. This created a very nice cross ventilation. I used my resperator and goggles and had all of the priming done in a couple of hours. I then took a break and went inside for a mid-morning breakfast while the primer dried.
