Brief Description:  Deburring.....

This cold has really knocked me around and I am not 100%. This was proven today when I attempted to work on the plane. I needed to cut and trim the tie down bracket for the tail of the airplane. This bracket will take an eyebolt that will stick out of the bottom of the tail to tie down the plane when parked. I measured and cut the part. I then trimmed it and was about to deburr the edges when I decided to check the size next to the full size drawing on the plans. My piece was cut almost an inch short!! I do not know how I came to that measurment, but it was wrong, it was cut wrong, and it is now in the scrap bucket. I called Van's and ordered a new piece. I also ordered a quart of pro-seal, wihile I was at it. I will need pro-seal to seal the firewall and the inlet vents. I continued to just deburr....My head it not clear and I blame my cold....That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Time to go in a take another dose of cold medicine.
