Brief Description:  Deburr, Deburr, & more Deburring.....

I back from Florida....It was good to see everybody and re-connect with my cousins. Hopefully we will all stay in touch and get together again soon (without a funeral this time...) I worked on the plane for about 3 hours tonight and continued to dismantle the bulkheads and deburr the individual pieces. Not much to take pictures of, so I took some pictures of what I bought today. I ordered a case (6 cans) of rattle can self etching primer from NAPA last week. I picked it up today. I plan on doing the larger areas of the skins and fuselage with the Akzo epoxy primer that I used on the wings and empenage, but I wanted to be able to do small batches without having to set up the spray equipment. I did some research of Van's Airforce forums and alot of people are using the NAPA 7220 self etching primer (gray).

I also stopped at harbor freight and picked up a bench vise. I have been looking at these and decided to wait until they went on sale. a 4" swivel bench vise for $29....not bad. I will need a bench vise to bend the longerons. I also picked up an inline air hose nozzle. This is at the end of the airhose right before the quick connect. That way, I have it handy, and I alway need to blow aluminum shavings out of the way....especially during drilling and countersinking. I think I picked up a cold in Florida, so I will be moving a little slowly for the next couple of days. I should be done deburring tomorrow and will begin to clean the parts for priming.
