Brief Description:  Dynon Heated AOA/Airspeed Pitot Probe. Completed,

Week ending July 29th 2012

This week, I completed the installation of the Dynon Heated AOA/Airspeed Pitot Probe. Ran some compressed air through the probe and watch the PFD ribbon indicator move upwards. And wired and mapped some more of the Engine Management System sensors. And I installed a new Precision Directional Gyro Compass on the steel pipe that intersects the Windshield.
I am adding Smooth-Prime and sanding on the final fiberglass items, the Spinner and Tail Intersection Fairing. I custom ordered and installed the set of Bonco flexible fuel lines that extend from the Fuselage Tunnel, out the Fuselage sides and into the Wing Root area for connection to the Wing Fuel tank. This is because I had trouble creating the S-Curve that is required in the Wing Root area to connect to the Fuel Tank. I also cleaned the “dust” out of each of the Wing Tanks with about 2 gallons each of AVGAS LL-100 just to be sure that all FOD was removed.
Other items, Talked to Airtech about the progress of the rebuilt IO-540. And I sent the new Hartzell Prop Governor that I purchased from Vans’s to be installed on the engine at Orlando Executive Airport where the engine is waiting on the rebuilt fuel injection system to be completed. I am expecting delivery sometime before the end of August 2012.
