I purchased three Eye-Ball Bulkhead Fitting (A.K.A Spherical Metal Grommets) from Doubletree for securing the veneer style engine cables as they pass through the stain-less steel Firewall Bulkhead. For what it's worth, I feel that this is a better solution than the plastic snap fittings that are suggested in the assemby manual. As these engine cable might have to be changed after 5 or 10 years. Installing was pretty straight forward but time consuming. I still need to bore-out the center of the sphere to the diameter of the three Throttle, Mixture and Prop cables. The maximum Ball Swivel is 50 degrees, this should be more than necessary.
Time about 3 hours.
