SECTION 48-05 Week of Oct.25th to 29th
Step 1 & 2 … I install the previously made spacer on top of the tire with duc tape. Placed and centered the U-1057B L/R Wheel Fairing Rear over the tire and spacer. Then I trimmed the area where the Landing Gear Leg and the Wheel Fairing intersect until perfect. I placed a wood block and measured the distance between the garage floor and the mid-way Wheel Fairing as 11.5 inches.
Step 3 .. I aligned the U-1057B – L/R Wheel Fairing Rear inline with rotation with the tire tread.
Step 4 … Added the Front U-1057A L/R Wheel Fairing Front onto the U-1057B L/R.. Trimmed the Wheel Fairing until no interference was seen at the Gear Leg. Including allowing enough room for the Bonco Stainless Steel braided brake line. I measured that the Wheel Fairing was exactly 11.5 inches from the Wheel Fairing center line to the floor both front and back. Now satisfied I trimmed the bottom the the Wheel Fairings to allow for at least a fingers width of clearance between the tire and Wheel Fairings.
Time about 4 hours for both Wheel Fairings front and back.
